Minimalist Lamp

This minimalist lamp was influenced by Soviet era municipal lights found across Eastern Europe. The design features laminated ash legs which splay out at the base and at the top to give the walnut arch of the lamp support and to highlight the lines of the supports.

The design aims to give the impression of something fragile and ethereal, almost floating, with echos of aircraft structures or even electricity pylons. Lightness and strength combined.

The light itself is new technology -  the LED lamp is only paper thin and can be bent and shaped to follow the delicate curve.
